Rappaport works on deals regarding advanced tax considerations, such as the Opportunity Zone program, 1031 exchanges, freeze partnerships, and private equity mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Falcon Rappaport in 2018, Rappaport was a sole practitioner and associate attorney at other New York law firms. He is a member of the State of New York Bar. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Courts in New York and the U.S. Supreme Court, among other jurisdictions. He is a member of the taxation section of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and an LL.M. in taxation and juris doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
