    It is very easy to do. File Form 8996 with the next income tax return for the corporation. But the ongoing compliance is where the tough part comes in.

    It's a self-certification based on meeting the criteria. You simply complete the tax return with the appropriate forms completed with the tax return and maintain files in support of your meeting the criteria.
