How can REITs be combined with the Opportunity Zone tax incentives to create tax savings for investors who want to invest eligible gains?

    It is possible to utilize the REIT structure (in addition to a partnership or corporation) to set up a Qualified Opportunity Fund (QOF). It is extremely complicated to combine the REIT structure with a QOF and is generally not advisable.
