He counsels clients on collective investment vehicles, fund organization and management, crowdfunding, community development financing, loan purchases and affordable housing transactions. He also works on financing and transactional matters for the health care industry.
Faden is well-versed in a variety of tax incentives, including the new markets tax credit program, renewable energy tax credit project and the Opportunity Zone program. He assists community development entities in the establishment of Qualified Opportunity Funds.
Prior to joining Manatt, Phelps & Philips, Faden worked as an associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel, a New York-based law firm. He has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Opportunity Zone Influencers in 2019 by Opportunity Zone Magazine.
Faden holds a juris doctor from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in international relations and Asian studies from Tufts University.
